Bonjour, I'm Héloïse

I'm a Québécoise teacher who spent 25 years in the classroom and now calls Florida home. I'm certified in both Québec and Florida, and I've always taught more than grammar — I teach the music of the language, the art of speaking well, and the character that gives young people confidence.

I built The French Academy because the brands you find online are wonderful — but they're made in France, for a global audience. I live here, in the United States. I understand what an American dreams of when they think of France: Paris and Provence, lavender and warm bread, a way of living well. I'm your bridge to all of it — in a language you can grow into, at a pace that feels like home.

My roots run through both Québec and Louisiana — a reminder that French isn't one country, but a living thread connecting France, North America, and a way of being in the world.
